The best thing was the view - from our room we had a gorgeous view into a garden and over Haifa. Otherwise it was ok given prices of other places in Haifa. ...We did have an issue initially with the hotel not having a booking, com reservation. When I showed it to them, they gave us a room, and wanted to charge $206 instead of the $140 you quoted. Luckily, I had everything printed out from your Webpage that I booked and so they reluctantly gave us the $140 rate - but then in 2 credit card pieces, one over 140 NIS, then another for $106 - which they claim is the remainder. So, they were not exactly competent.
It smelled - there was a constant odor in the rooms, as has been noted by other travelors. The breakfast was ok although in a country like Israel, we really missed having fruit - there was absolutely none!

The location is good, very close to the Carmel centre. On the other hand the place is quiet, hotel is lpcated in a nice parr area. Rooms are big with a balcony and a nice view to the city and the sea. The breacfast is OK.

we ordered a room for 3, but only got a normal double bed room. only after showing the guy at the reception the mail with the reservation confirmation, he agreed to hand out bed sheets and advised us to open the sleeping couch...

Nice breakfast selection, comfortable beds, and spacious rooms with free toiletries. the hotel is near some attractions and offers a great view of the city.
The hotel needs an update, and the room's design is outdated. the Wi-Fi is slow and only available in the lobby.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood within a short drive of the Carmel Center. Staff is homey and the food is repetitious but plentiful.
The accommodations are rather basic, no internet connection available in the rooms, and the furniture, fixtures, carpets, walls, are not clean.

Not too much. The breakfasts were adequate
The rugs were dirty; no bar soap was provided; some of the staff were extremely rude and refused to help us find a particular restaurant, saying they did not know where it was and ask a cab driver, even tho we told them we were driving. There was an unpleasant smell in the lobby and room

The hotel had a decent location, within a 20-minute walk to the city center. The lobby, pool, and dining areas had been recently renovated and looked nice. The bathrooms were a good size and well-equipped.
The rooms were outdated and not well-maintained, with ripped carpeting in the hallways. The cleaning of the rooms was not thorough, and the beds were uncomfortable.

The food at breakfast was good.
The quality of the hotel lowered from the last year. In the room, the carpet was not very clean and there were holes in one of the bed sheets. The were dirty dishes at breakfasts and there were no fruit yogurts.

The swimming pool was great! The breakfast which came with the room was a five star breakfast. The room was pleasant and the beds were comfortable. I would return to this hotel again.
The only problem with the hotel is location. There are no small stores nearby where you can pick up something to nosh. You must call for a taxi to go anywhere. There are buses, but you must know the bus routes.

The rooms were nice-sized, including, and especially, the bathroom.
1. The price changed abruptly when they found out we were 2 travellers, even though we had earlier especially requested 2 separate beds. 2. Bookings.com specifically mentioned free w-fi internet connection in the rooms; not only is there no wi-fi in the rooms at all, the wi-fi in the lobby is not great either. 3. The "bar" is a tiny, dark, dusty corner which is not in use, save for a refrigerator with cold beverages which is locked and can only be opened by a hotel employee. 4. There was a cat, a live cat, walking around the lobby. 5. The carpeting in the hallways is old and ripped in places. Needs to be redone.
